Research Interests
My research areas are concerned with navigation for service robots in indoor environment, such as 3D map building, path planning, door passing etc. In my work, we will implement a robust PR2 navigation in multi-rooms and in multi-floors.
The potential research directions are:
- 3D environment perception and mapping based on multi-sensory information
- Human-machine negotiation navigation
- Multiple levels of recovery with explicit and implicit knowledges (with internet/without internet, local knowledge, global knowledge)
