Dr. Taisuke Kobayashi

Research interest

Dr. Kobayashi is an Assistant Professor at Intelligent System Control Lab in Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST). He is currently working at the ICS as a member of Program for Advancing Strategic International Networks to Accelerate the Circulation of Talented Researchers.

He received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from Nagoya University, Aichi, Japan, in 2012, 2014, and 2016, respectively. Research Interest: The ultimate goal of his research is to develop the next generation autonomous robot that autonomously produces multiple objectives, selects what the robot wishes to achieve from among them, and acquires dynamic motions to achieve the selected objective. In particular, his research interests include the locomotion control by intelligent systems and autonomous robotics with reinforcement learning.
